    Course Learning Objectives

    After completing this course, you will be able to:

    1. Define and distinguish between monitoring and evaluation.
    2. Develop a program logic model to communicate an evidence-based program theory.
    3. Develop an M&E plan to track progress of program activities toward objectives and assess program effectiveness.
    4. Develop quantitative and qualitative indicators and targets for an M&E plan.
    5. Use relevant qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods to track and evaluate program progress.
    6. Identify the qualities of effective qualitative and quantitative data collection tools.
    7. Describe how program data can be used for decision-making.
    8. Apply ethical guidelines for data collection and reporting.
